We went to an estate auction this weekend and I ran across this little beauty. It stands just 2 inches tall but has amazing detail. I couldn't wait to list this. The biggest choice was deciding whether to put it on eBay or in the Antique Mall. I went with eBay because I wanted to see the "thrill of the auction". However, I decided to list low and instill a reserve. Now, I hate reserves just as much as the next person, but when I attend auctions, I understand that it is necessary on certain items of certain value.
This little Owl Sewing Tape Measure is hand carved of bone and is quite valuable according to our research. I'm excited to watch the activity but realize that most of it will come near the end. Maybe I'll write a post on the new era of eBay. Thank you to all of our loyal customers and we hope you can take a look and if you feel so obliged, participate in the auction. Auction ends Feb 16, 2014 14:15:25 PST. |
